Created by contemporary artist Shao Starryang in 1995, combining the essence of more than 30 years of research on Tianmu glaze and innovative experimentation, this work draws on the cultural connotations of the Song Dynasty literati who sipped tea, and through the delicate control of glaze color changes and the artistic transformation of changing imagery. It looks like the beautiful feather pattern on the chest of a partridge bird (bamboo chicken), which was praised by the ancient poems: "The jade gull brushes with the partridge spots" and "The spring dew is sucked in the partridge spots".
