Created by contemporary artist Shao Starryang in 2003, combining the essence of more than thirty years of research and innovative experimentation on the Tianmu glaze, this work draws on the cultural connotations of the Song Dynasty literati who sipped tea, and through the delicate control of the glaze's color variations and the transformation of the changing imagery into art.
