This piece was originally created by me when I was working on a No. 400 piece.
The palette used in the work "The Garden of Peach Blossoms" had been in storage for many years, but one day I took it out and put it on a low cupboard downstairs when I was tidying up, and my six-year-old granddaughter came home from kindergarten and took a look at the painting, and exclaimed in surprise.
"Grandpa is so beautiful." I joked:
"Grandpa's a boy." "Grandpa's handsome.
"Grandpa! I mean, that's a beautiful picture."
The words came out of my granddaughter's mouth, and she suddenly realized that
"Picasso's quote: "I could paint as well as Raphael when I was 14, but it took me a lifetime to make myself paint like a child."
Even Picasso, the internationally acclaimed and world-famous artist, spent his whole life trying to let his imagination and creativity go back to his youth, to splash around without any care, and to reproduce on the canvas the stacks of colors in his mind without any limitations.
